VISUALPLANT:

1) The Record Display screen returns the error Cannot open file foto132.jpg

2) How can I add my logo instead of Visualplant's?

Answers:

 1)    This error occurs only when the program cannot find the path to the photo files. You may have simply moved or deleted the folder Photos in C:\Program Files\Visualplant 6.1. To solve the problem, reinstall the program. It could also be due to a recording error in the original CD, a reading problem in your CD drive or a damaged or scratched CD. Please, contact us via e-mail or phone and ask for a CD change.
 2)    The logo is stored in the file Logo.bmp in the program folder (C:\Program Files\Visualplant 6.1). It has the standard Windows graphic format (Bitmap BMP). Scan your logo, resize it and save it in the program folder with the name Logo.bmp. Windows will warn you that a file with the same name already exists in the destination folder. Click Ok to accept the message and rewrite the existing file.
 

   


VISUALCAD:

1) I have made a drawing in A3, A2 or A1 size but my printer only supports A4. How can I print the whole drawing?

2) When I insert plant photos in my drawing they appear distorted or greyish (with other colors).

3) Some tools are missing when I open the program and when I close it a message appears saying that the file Normal.DAT could not be found.

Answers:

1) The option Print in the menu File will print your drawing per parts in so many pages as necessary.
2) That is due to your display settings. The program only supports 24 or 32 bit true color. If your graphics card does not support it you will have to change it for a later one. To see or change your display settings, right click on the Windows desktop and select Properties and then Settings. In the Color Depth section, drop down the menu and check if you can choose True Color (24 bit) or True Color (32 bit). Select one of the two options. Never select High Density (16 bit) or lower.
3) Replace the Normal.DAT file in the folder C:\Program Files\Visualplant 6.1 for the one in this link http://www.v-ter.com/software/Normal.dat
 

   


PRESUPLANT:


1) I make a new Delivery Note, Quote or Invoice and when I click the button Print/Calculate, the following error message pops up Cannot open file.....Logo.bmp

2) I choose right the client but the Delivery Note is not processed.

3) I have made some invoices but when I click the button Invoice list the resulting list is incomplete: invoices are missing or the list does not appear at all (blank list).

4) In the window Price List I try to print a price list clicking the button Price list (rate 1) or Price2 list (rate 2) but it does not work.

5) After a power outage, a problem with Windows or another reason, the program stopped responding and I had to restart the computer or press CTRL+ALT+DEL to stop the program. From this time on Preuplant keeps on hanging, returns many errors and mixes the data in invoices, delivery notes and quotes (the data do not correspond to the actual documents anymore).

Answers:

1) You probably need to specify the program the BMP logo to use on envelopes, invoices and other printed documents. On the program main screen, choose the menu Logo and the option Change logo. Then double-click on the window and choose a file in the specified format or type in the complete name of the file in the text field at the bottom of the screen.
2) Verify the date on the delivery note. The date should be within the time interval appearing when clicking the button Invoicing Delivery Notes . If the date is right, verify the note status: open the window Delivery Notes, find the corresponding delivery note and check whether it has the status pending invoice. If it has the status invoiced , you have to change it to pending invoice clicking the button Change status.
3) An invoice will only appear on the list if you have previously clicked the button Calculate/Print and have displayed an invoice preview (you do not need to have printed it). Therefore, if an invoice is missing, find it with the button Find invoice with the magnifying glass icon and display an invoice preview. Then try to generate the invoice list again.
4) To be able to print a plant list with its corresponding price in the window Price List, you need to mark with an x in the selection column S the plants that you wish to include in the list. You can select all plants automatically by clicking the button Select All and, the other way around, you can cancel the selection by clicking the button Cancel Sel. All This process takes some minutes and once it has started you have to wait until it has finished to keep on working with the program.
5) The files are probably misindexed. To reindex the files you can use the complementary program Data Repair . The program is installed in your computer when installing the complete pack Visualplant. If you do not have it, you can also download it from our web site. Execute the program and select the box All tables, then click the button Repair and wait until the process ends.
